Zhang Ming is a distinguished Professor at Peking University's School of Computer Science and serves as a doctoral supervisor, highlighting his role in nurturing advanced research talent. He is an influential figure in the academic community, holding positions on several key committees and organizations, including the National Committee for Undergraduate Computer Education, ACM China Council, and ACM China Education Committee, which underscores his leadership and impact in shaping computer science education. Professor Zhang pursued his academic journey at Peking University, earning his bachelor's, master's, and PhD degrees starting in 1984, establishing a strong foundation in his field. His research expertise lies in text mining, graph machine learning, and educational big data, areas in which he actively engages through leading national projects and collaborating with top-tier companies, focusing on innovative advancements and practical applications. With over 300 publications in prestigious conferences and journals, Professor Zhang has earned notable accolades such as the Best Paper Award at ICML 2014 and nominations at WWW 2016 and ICDM 2022, reflecting his significant scholarly contributions. In addition to his research achievements, he is committed to education, having published teaching research papers and authored a textbook recognized as an excellent resource and supported by national educational initiatives. His course on Data Structures and Algorithms has been honored with multiple awards at the national and Beijing levels, showcasing his excellence in teaching and curriculum development. Professor Zhang's dedication to education was further acknowledged in 2021 when he received the CCF Outstanding Education Award, a testament to his exceptional contributions to computer science education and research.
Prof. Chunxiao Xing

Bio:
Xing Chunxiao is the vice president and doctoral supervisor of Tsinghua University Institute of Information Technology, and vice president of Tsinghua University Internet Industry Research Institute and China New Urbanization Research Institute. He has been engaged in scientific research and teaching in two first-level disciplines of computer science and technology and software engineering and their application fields for a long time. His main research directions are: databases and data warehouses, data science and big data technology, blockchain and security, and knowledge engineering, digital libraries, e-government/e-commerce, smart health and medical care and other fields. As the person in charge, he has undertaken dozens of projects including the National Science and Technology Support Plan Project, National 863 Key Project and Goal-Oriented Project, National Natural Fund Key Project, National 973 Project Project, National High-tech Industrialization CNGI Project, Beijing Science and Technology Plan Project, International Cooperation and Horizontal Project.
Assoc. Prof. Kejia Hu

Bio:
Kejia Hu is an Associate Professor in Management Science, a Fellow at Exeter College, Founding Director of the Human-Algorithm Interaction Lab, and Co-Director of our Executive Diploma AI for Business. Kejia's research covers service system design, forecasting and Human-AI Interaction in decision-making. She has published 20 papers in top-tier journals and received 10 best paper awards. Her Jointown Pharmaceutical Group case study was named a Top 100 MBA Case Study in China. In 2023, Poets & Quants recognised her as one of the 'Best 40 Under 40' Business School Professors worldwide. In her academic community, she serves as Vice Chair of INFORMS Service Science, Board Member of POMS College of Service Operations, and Academic Scholar at Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures. She is also Department Editor for IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management, and on the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Operations Management. In industry, she is an Executive AI Strategy Coach, advising senior leaders in companies like Dell, Nissan, C&D, CATL, and Marriott on AI transformation. Her work has impacted EU emissions policy, AI adoption strategies, and business operations optimisation.
