The 2025 International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Social Sciences (AICSS 2025) has successfully concluded!


The 2025 International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Social Sciences (AICSS 2025) was successfully convened from 19 to 21 September 2025 at the Lecture Hall of the International Building, West Campus, Beijing Foreign Studies University! The conference attracted numerous experts and scholars, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere and establishing a broad and far-reaching international collaboration platform. This not only provided a significant opportunity for cross-regional, cross-institutional, and cross-disciplinary research collaboration but also laid a solid foundation for future project development and talent exchange. AICSS 2025 was hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University, with comprehensive technical support provided by AiScholar.

The conference commenced smoothly under the chairmanship of Associate Professor Liang Ye, Party Secretary of the School of Information Science and Technology at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Professor Liu Xinlu, Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University, delivered an opening address extending a warm welcome to the participating experts and scholars. He conveyed sincere greetings and a heartfelt welcome to all attendees, while expressing his anticipation for the conference to yield fruitful outcomes. Professor Liu further emphasised the vital significance of high-calibre international conferences, noting that they serve not only as premier platforms for researchers and scholars to exchange ideas and share findings, but also as powerful catalysts for advancing disciplinary development and progress.

This conference is honoured to have invited four distinguished scholars from across the nation to deliver keynote presentations. These include Professor Xing Chunxiao, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Information Technology at Tsinghua University; Professor Luo Min'nan from Xi'an Jiaotong University; Professor Chaolemen from Renmin University of China; and Professor Huang Mengxing, Dean of the School of Information Science at Hainan University. The four experts engaged in in-depth discussions on the development trends and future directions of artificial intelligence and the social computing industry. Their presentations covered cutting-edge topics including key technologies for intelligent trustworthy data spaces, multimodal false information detection, data science, and MRI radiomics, fully demonstrating the academic appeal and extensive industry influence within the fields of artificial intelligence and social computing.
